Join OccuPaws at the “Good Exchange”

•When: Wednesday, October 8th, 2026, 9am–6pm

•Where: Alliant Energy Center Expo Hall, Madison, WI

•What it is: A free, community-wide event where dozens of Dane County nonprofits set up booths so attendees can learn about volunteer opportunities, board positions, careers, and ways to get involved locally.

•Booth setup: Exhibitors set up between 7:00–8:30am that morning.

Why we’re there

This is a great chance to raise awareness about OccuPaws’ mission, talk to the community about puppy raising and volunteering, and hopefully recruit new puppy raisers, sitters, and supporters.

How you can help

We’re looking for volunteers to help staff the OccuPaws booth throughout the day (a 10’×10′ space with table, chairs, and tablecloth provided). If you’re available for a shift, morning, afternoon, or the whole day, we’d love to have you there! Bringing a well-mannered puppy-in-training to help draw attention to the booth is always a hit, if you’re able.
